Christopher Emmanuel "Chris" Paul (born May 6, 1985) is an American high quality basketball player of the La Clippers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Standing at 6 ft 0 in (1.83 m) and weighing 175 lb (79 kg), he has started exclusively at the position of point guard. Paul has won the NBA Rookie of the Year Award, an Olympic gold medal, and led a NBA for assists 3 times and steals 6 times. Two days later, the teams finally formed the trade, transferring Paul and two future 2nd round draft picks for the Clippers for Eric Gordon, Chris Kaman, Al-Farouq Aminu, and the Minnesota Timberwolves' unprotected first round pick inside the 2012 draft.
